Steve is heading up SafeGuard's emergency management research division, understanding the social factors that are associated with preparing for and recovering from disasters. He is also helping to drive SafeGuard's business planning efforts and go-to market thinking. He brings a unique perspective to our work gained in his 25 years of market and strategic planning work with the very best firms in the Silicon Valley.
Steve is currently a vice president with Nielson, the international research firm, focused on custom consulting work with firms such as Google, Sony, Facebook, IBM, Microsoft, Cisco Systems, Verizon, and Cox Communications. This work over many years has allowed him to gain a unique perspective on the future directions of technology and business.
Steve has lived in the Bay Area for over 25 years. He graduated with an MBA in marketing and a BBA in Management from Western State Colorado University and has attended an array of post-graduate classes in business planning, online marketing strategy, and business leadership.
